What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a powerful tool for self-exploration and healing. There are many forms of breathwork out there in the world. Many forms are synthesized from the same roots – ancient wisdom traditions.
Breathwork incorporates elements of group process, music, and deep circular breathing. Deep breathing can foster a strong physical and emotional release of stuck or stored energy in the body. This technique helps to promote relaxation and healing. Music is played to help guide the healing session.
What is a Breathwork session like?
Breathwork can sometimes elicit a carthatic release of physical and emotional energy that is stored in the body. It is not uncommon for people participating in breathwork to feel a range of emotions such as joy, sadness, empathy, connection, and bliss. Deep circular breathing can sometimes make people feel dizzy or experience a tingling sensation throughout the body. It can also be extremely peaceful, calming, and relaxing.
Some mention that they feel much more relaxed, calm, content, and energized after a breathwork session.
