I’m a somatic therapist, breathwork facilitator, and co-founder of Psychedelics Today—one of the world’s leading psychedelic media and education platforms. I am also the Director of Vital Training My journey into non-ordinary states of consciousness began at 16, after a near-death experience from a snowboarding accident that changed my life. That moment became a turning point, awakening a deep curiosity about consciousness, healing, and the human psyche. I earned my B.A. in Transpersonal Psychology from Burlington College, where I explored everything from shamanic practices and local plant medicine to Holotropic Breathwork, Reiki, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Since 2010, I’ve been studying Dreamshadow Transpersonal Breathwork with Lenny and Elizabeth Gibson. I completed my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Somatic Psychology at Prescott College. This training has included modules in Archetypal Astrology, Celtic Shamanism, and other modalities for healing and exploring consciousness. In addition to the trainings and certifications listed below, Lucas has volunteered as Psychedelic Peer Support with MAPS’s Zendo Project at Burning Man and has led meditations while guiding hikes at the Wanderlust Festival in Stratton, Vermont along with Kyle Buller. Lucas and Kyle have facilitated multiple workshops on Transpersonal Breathwork, shamanic journeywork, and other modalities since 2015.
